ERROR AND STATUS DISPLAYS

General error, invalid keypad entry was attempted.
-Err-
-OF- Attempting to display a negative number greater than –9,999 or a
positive number greater than 99,999
-trL- Indicates an attempt to zero a weight outside scale zero range. Refer to
the Setup and Calibration trL= (Four Percent Zero Tracking Range
Limit) parameter.
-UnS- Motion is present when indicator is attempting to perform one of the
following operations: Power Up, Zero, or Zero Weight Display
CALib Indicates calibration is necessary.
Attempting to enter Setup and Calibration with the calibration jumper
CERR
(J2) installed.

Problem
Display does not AC Operation:

Battery operation:
Incorrect weight Insure that scale platform isn't touching an adjacent object.
displayed Have proper operation procedures been followed?
Indicator will not Refer to Error and Status Display section and make certain that the
display weight O CAP message is not displayed. If so, and scale is not loaded,
perform the calibration sequence.
Indicator displays The digital height rod was not in its "starting position" prior to turning
999.9 for height on the indicator. Push inner sliding tube completely down inside
outer stationary tube and fold headpiece against stationary tube.
Consult your scale service representative.
Possible Solutions
 Is AC power supply fully inserted into wall receptacle?
 Check wall receptacle for proper AC power. Try another electrical
appliance in same receptacle, does it work?
 Check circuit breaker.
 Has there been power failure?
 Check if batteries are installed and correctly.
 Are batteries discharged?
If Alkaline, remove old batteries and replace with new ones.
If NI-CAD or NiMH, remove discharged batteries and replace
with fully charged ones. Place discharged batteries in an
external charger to recharge.
