FUEL LINE INSPECTION
Visually inspect the fuel line for cracks, swelling, leaks, hardness, or other signs
of deterioration or damage. If any of these conditions are found, the fuel line
must be replaced.
IN-LINE FUEL FILTER SLEEVE REMOVAL
This engine is equipped with an in‑line fuel filter sleeve installed in the fuel inlet
hose, inside the engine cowl. The filter captures debris that may be in the fuel
line after the vessel mounted fuel filtration system. This filter must be removed
after 100 hours of operation and may be either discarded or replaced with a
new filter.
1. Remove the clamp securing the vessel fuel line to the fuel inlet hose and
remove the fuel line from the inlet hose.
2. Remove the in‑line fuel filter sleeve from the inlet hose. Discard or replace
the filter.
3. Install the vessel fuel line onto the fuel inlet hose and secure the
connection with a clamp.
4. Verify the fuel line connection does not have a fuel leak.
