Is the safety

correctly connected to
the outdoor unit

Find safety device which
the contact is open.

Be sure to turn off the power switch before
connecting or disconnecting connectors, or parts
may be damaged.

Temperature of
compressor discharge
pipe is abnormally high.
Is the stop valve fully
open?
Is the refrigerant
piping circuit clogged?
Is refrigerant charged
to the proper level?
Is the compressor
defective?
Temperature of fan motor
coil is abnormally high.
Is the fan turning
correctly?
Has draft passage
been provided?
Compressor current is
excessive.
Is power being properly
supplied?
(Voltage, open phase,
etc.)
Is the compressor
defective?

Connect
correctly.
Open the stop
valve.
Replace the
clogged part.
Charged to
specified level.
Replace the
compressor.
Remove the
obstacles so the
fan turns
correctly, or
replace the fan.
Provide the draft
passage
Replace the fan
motor.
Provide suitable
power supply.
Replace the
compressor.
