1. To install the OPTIONAL slider damper rod, remove
the left cabinet side and locate the slider damper
plate. Install the 7 /
16
thread all the way to the end of the threads on rod.
2. Slide rod through the hole in the slider damper plate
and install the 7 /
16
tighten completely onto the slider damper plate.
3. Reinstall the cabinet side. Install the black knob on
the end of the rod. Check slider damper for smooth
operation.

PTIONAL EARTH AD
This unit can be installed on a combustible floor due to the optional pedestal hearth pad (for example
linoleum, hardwood flooring). If this unit is to be installed onto a carpeted surface, a hearth pad must
be used for stability.
Carefully place the back of the pellet appliance on the pallet and install the hearth pad. Align the holes in
the hearth pad and the unit and install the four screws provided.
This unit is supplied with 4 leveling legs for uneven surfaces. Adjust these leveling legs until unit is
level.
