5.12 FUSES


Replacement
• The ignition circuit has a 0A fuse, located in the

battery compartment, inside the glove compartment
(F‑Fig.28).
To replace the fuse remove the battery compartment

cover.
• There is another 7,5 A fuse (protection of the lighting
system and carburettor starter) behind the battery.

To gain access to this fuse, you must remove the
battery.
5 • Remove the fuse from its seat, and replace it with
one having the same capacity.

Do not replace the fuse with one having a higher
capacity, as it could seriously damage the
electrical equipment and cause a fire on the
vehicle in the event of a short circuit.
If the fuses blow, even if they have been replaced,
have them checked by an Authorised MALAGUTI
Service Centre.
Note: We suggest keeping on the vehicle a kit of
ENG
spare bulbs and fuses.
