Bluetooth™

Bluetooth is a short-range
radio system. It permits wireless
communication between different
terminal devices equipped with
Bluetooth such as phones, phone
accessories, printers and PCs.
Every Bluetooth device has a unique
address and name. This is how it is
guaranteed that the intended
communication partners can
connect. The security concept is
based on a password that both
devices exchange when they
connect for the first time. These
"trustworthy" partners can be
included in a list. The password
prompt is no longer necessary for
future connections.
Note
The use of Bluetooth devices is forbidden in
some countries. Check with the relevant
authorities.
