Bluetooth™

Bluetooth™ is a short-range radio
link. It permits wireless communica-
tion between different terminal de-
vices equipped with Bluetooth™
such as phones, phone accessories,
printers and PCs.
Every Bluetooth™ device has a
unique address and a name. This
guarantees a connection between
the intended communication part-
ners. The security concept is based
on a password that both devices ex-
change when they connect for the
first time. These "trustworthy" part-
ners can be included in a list. The
password prompt is not required for
future connections. For settings, see
page 99.
Note
In some countries, there may be restrictions
on the use of Bluetooth™ devices. Check
with the relevant authorities.
