DIAGNOSTICS

The STAMPEDE 900 is equipped with an on-board computer diagnostic system that stores diagnostic trouble codes
(or fault codes). Trouble codes are stored when a sensor in the vehicle reports a reading that is outside the normal/
accepted range.
Trouble codes identify a particular problem area and provides a guide as to where a fault might be occurring within the
vehicle. These codes should be used in conjunction with the STAMPEDE 900 repair manual to identify which systems,
circuits or components should be tested to fully diagnose the fault.
NOTICE: A complete list of codes can be found in the STAMPEDE 900 repair manual.
To enter the selectable displays:
1. Make sure the key is in the OFF position.
2. Press and hold the OK button on the display control pad while turning the ignition key to the
ON position. Turning the key past the ON position and starting the engine will exit the display.
3. Release the OK button.
4. Use UP and DOWN on the control pad to scroll through the top level displays.
