NOTICE: A qualified repair shop or person of the owner's choosing may maintain, replace, or repair emission
control devices and systems with original or equivalent replacement parts. However, warranty,
recall and all other services paid for by BAD BOY OFF ROAD must be performed at an authorized
BAD BOY OFF ROAD service center.

SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE

Consistent inspection, adjustment and lubrication of some components are necessary to maintain your STAMPEDE
900 so that it remains in safe and reliable condition. Refer to the SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE CHART on page 46
for detailed requirements.
Inspect, clean, lubricate, adjust and replace parts as necessary. Use original BAD BOY OFF ROAD or equivalent
replacement parts.
Record the maintenance items performed along with details in the MAINTENANCE LOG beginning on page 79.
NOTICE: Service and adjustments are important for safe and reliable vehicle operation. If not familiar with
safe service and adjustment procedures, have your dealer perform the operations.

Initial Service Requirements

Perform the additional inspection or maintenance at the initial service interval indicated, in addition to regular intervals.
See SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE CHART on page 46. The initial service is required for optimum performance and
reliability.
• engine oil and filter
• valve lash
• front differential oil
• rear differential oil

Severe Use Conditions

Vehicles subjected to heavy or severe use must be inspected and serviced more frequently than those of normal use
patterns.
The following conditions are considered severe use:
• frequent or prolonged use in a dusty environment
• prolonged low speed operation
• prolonged heavy load operation
• frequent use or immersion in mud, water or sand
• short trips in cold weather
• extended idle
• racing or high RPM use
