5. Inspect the fuel hose for damage and
fuel leakage. If any defects are found,
the fuel hose must be replaced.
NOTE: Lifting up the fuel tank too much can
result in the fuel hose becoming bent or
twisted. Lift the fuel tank as little as possible
and disconnect the fuel hose. The fuel tank
in the above illustration is lifted to show the
fuel hose and coupler clearly.

CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT

Clutch cable play should be 10 – 15 mm (0.4
– 0.6 in) measured at the clutch lever end.
Adjust clutch cable play according to the fol-
lowing procedure:
Minor Adjustment
Loosen the lock nut 2. Turn the clutch cable
adjuster 1 to provide the specified play.
