7. Inspect the air cleaner element condi-
tion. Replace the air cleaner element
periodically.
NOTICE
Compressed air can damage the air
cleaner element.
Do not blow the air cleaner element with
compressed air.
A torn air cleaner element will allow dirt
to enter the engine and can damage the
engine.
Replace the air cleaner element with a
new one if it is torn. Carefully examine
the air cleaner element for tears during
cleaning.
8. Reinstall the air cleaner element in
reverse order of removal. Be sure that
the air cleaner element is securely in
position and is properly sealed.
