FUSE LIST
• 30A MAIN fuse protects all electrical cir-
cuits.
• 10A HEAD-HI fuse protects the speed-
ometer and headlight high beam.
• 10A HEAD-LO fuse protects the head-
light low beam.
• 15A IGNITION fuse protects the head-
light relay, fan motor relay, side stand
relay, oxygen sensor, solenoid, ECU, fuel
pump relay, starter relay and ignition
coils.
• 10A SIGNAL fuse protects the pilot
lamp, horn, speedometer, turn signal
light, license light, stop lamp, taillight and
position light (if equipped).
• 10A FUEL fuse protects the ECU, fuel
pump, injectors and speedometer.
• 15A FAN fuse protects the cooling fan
motor.
• 10A OPTION fuse protects the options.

CATALYTIC CONVERTER

The purpose of the catalytic converter is to
minimize the amount of harmful pollutants in
your motorcycle's exhaust. Use of leaded
fuel in motorcycles equipped with catalytic
converters is prohibited because lead deac-
tivates the pollutant-reducing components of
the catalyst system.
The converter is designed to last the life of
the motorcycle under normal usage and
when unleaded fuel is used. Not special
maintenance is required on the converter.
However, it is very important to keep the
engine properly tuned. Engine misfiring,
which can result from an improperly tuned
engine, may cause overheating of the cata-
lyst. This may result in permanent heat dam-
age to the catalyst and other motorcycle
components.
