The system LEDs on the front panel display general status information
about the entire switch. The system LEDs are defined in Table 2.
Table 2 System LEDs
Description
Indicates normal operation.
Indicates that the switch or management software has
malfunctioned. (Refer to Chapter 3, Troubleshooting on
page 60 for instructions on how to troubleshoot the
problem.)
Indicates that the switch is loading its operating software,
running diagnostic tests, writing messages to FLASH, or
downloading files using XMODEM.
Indicates that the switch is functioning as the Master switch
of an enhanced stack.
Indicates that the switch is a slave switch of an enhanced
stack or is not a member of a stack.
Indicates that the switch is receiving power.
