13.2 The emergency power module

The emergency power module is connected between the transformer and the power inlet of the
control unit AT18 (plug connector X3)(see photo 11).
This module carries out the switchover of the power supply from the transformer to the 4V
emergency power supply (rechargeable battery) in case of a power failure.
At the switchover the controls receive the instruction (plug connector X5) to reduce the door speed
to initial speed, so that the connected rechargeable batteries are not discharged too much.
