15.12.1 Installation AT tool package

15.12.3 AT AT Frontend PC
The AT Frontend PC is started via the start menu "AT Tool Package" -> "AT Frontend PC" or via the
desktop link "AT Frontend PC".
At the start of the program the control unit AT18 is being searched for automatically to establish
communication. If the control unit AT18 is not recognised automatically, the "Establish connection
to AT" button can be pressed. If thereafter still no communication has been established, please
see the help description. In order for the communication to be established successfully the AT USB
adapter must be connected to the USB port of the PC.
In addition the control unit AT18 must be connected to the ATUSB adapter via the 9-pin connector
cable. The control unit AT18 must be switched on, otherwise only the movement cycle editor can be
selected.
After start-up of the program "AT Frontend PC" the following window appears on the monitor when
the communication has been established successfully. On the title page the firmware version of the
connected control unit is also displayed.

Via the button "User terminal emulation", "Movement cycle editor" or "Oscilloscope" the main
function of the AT Frontend PC can be called up.
