PROBLEM:
Stations cannot communicate through the router.
Incorrect IP address.
Incorrect Subnet Mask
ACTION:
1. Check to see that IP addresses have been configured
correctly (see Who Am I screen in
Configuration
2. Go to: Configuration
monitor the state of the system for e1a Bridge Up
(forwarding).
PROBLEM:
PPP circuit is forwarding no traffic.
ACTION:
1. Verify that the DSL link is up.
2. Go to: Configuration
monitor the state of the system.
3. If the IP state is up and the local and peer IP addresses are
displayed, IPCP is completed.
4. If the IP state is missing from the screen, check that the port
has an IP address assigned.
5. If the IP state is missing from the screen, check that the port
has an IP address assigned.
PROBLEM:
DSL cards do not respond at start-up after rebooting chassis.
ACTION:
1. Reset the MCC card.
2. Be sure LEDs go through the reset sequence once. Then, a
second time after 15–20 seconds.
3. Reconfigure each DSL card (see Configuration
