ADjUSTING TEMpERATURES - MANUAL MODEL
Using the manual (rotary) controls
You need to adjust the temperature of your refrigerator and
freezer to your climate. The two temperature control knobs
are located in the top of the refrigerator compartment.
The left hand knob controls:
• The temperature of the freezer
• The quantity of air going into both compartments
The right hand knob controls:
• The temperature of the refrigerator
Note: Setting both controls to 'colder' when you first start
will not cool your refrigerator any faster than when set
at 'MID' settings. It is therefore NOT recommended. In
general follow recommended procedures when you adjust
temperatures.
Refrigerator temperature control:
To make the fridge/fresh food section colder, turn the knob
clockwise slightly towards COLDER. To make the fridge/
fresh food section warmer, turn the knob anticlockwise
slightly towards LESS COLD.

Note: The temperature control will also alter the temperature
of the freezer. Allow the refrigerator to run for 24 hours
after you alter the temperature control then reassess the
temperature before making any further adjustments.

Freezer temperature control:
To make the freezer food section colder, turn the knob
clockwise slightly towards COLDER. To make the freezer
food section warmer, turn the knob anticlockwise slightly
towards LESS COLD.

Note: The temperature control will also alter the temperature
of the refrigerator. Allow the refrigerator to run for 24 hours
after you alter the temperature control then reassess the
temperature before making any further adjustments.
CAUTION
The coldest freezer setting is not recommended in warm
and very hot climates as it will limit the cooling air to the
refrigerator compartment.
ELEcTRONIc DISpLAY pANEL (IcE & wATER MODEL)
The electronic display panel is located at the top of the
food storage door. It consists of an LCD display with blue
lighting and 7 push buttons. When the power is first turned
on, you will see the default settings shown below with the
blue backlighting on.

If no buttons have been pressed and the fridge door is
closed the backlighting will turn off after 30 seconds. The
display will go into clock mode.
