IcE + wATER TROUbLESHOOTING
pRObLEM

AUTOMATIc IcE-MAKER
• Ice maker is in the OFF position

SOLUTION
• Put switch in the ON position
• Turn on the household water line valve
• See the Troubleshooting section: 'If the temperature in
the refrigerator is too warm' on page 10.
• If it isn't, the ice & water filter cartridge may be
clogged or restricted by foreign material, and will need
to be replaced
• The ice maker should produce approximately
2–3 kilograms of ice every 24 hours
• Refer to 'Adjusting Temperature' in your relevant model
section
• Open the household water line valve
• Replace the water filter cartridge
• Replace the filter cartridge, as the water filter cartridge
may be clogged.
• Cover foods tightly. Discard stale ice. The ice maker
will produce a fresh supply
• Add a filter to water supply line. Consult a water
purifying company
• Discard stale ice
• When the first supply of ice drops into the container,
the dispenser should operate.
• Turn the freezer control to a higher setting so that ice
cubes will be made. When first supply of ice is made,
dispenser will operate
• Open the household water line valve. Allow sufficient
time for the ice to be made. When ice is made the
dispenser should operate
• Ensure the freezer door is closed
• The motor is overloaded. The motor overload protector
will reset in approximately 3 minutes. Ice can then be
dispensed
• Remove the ice container and empty it's contents.
Clean and dry the container and replace to its proper
position. When new ice is made, the dispenser should
operate
• Remove ice cubes that are jamming dispenser
• Use the dispenser often so that cubes do not
freeze together
• The water filter cartridge could be clogged.
Cartridge may need replacing
