Terminating Direct Connection
In environments that the printer is usually connected with the computer over the wireless LAN, set the
printer to the wireless LAN connection following the procedure below when you finish using the printer
with the direct connection temporarily.
1. Select LAN settings on HOME screen.

If you specify the administrator password, enter the password.
2. Use button to select Change LAN and press OK button.
3. Use button to select Activate wireless LAN and press OK button.
If you do not use the printer over wireless LAN, select Activate wired LAN or Disable LAN.
Changing Direct Connection Setting
Change the settings for the direct connection following the procedure below.
1. Make sure printer is turned on.
2. Select Various settings on HOME screen.

3. Use button to select Device settings and press OK button.
4. Use button to select LAN settings and press OK button.
If you specify the administrator password, enter the password.
5. Use button to select Other settings and press OK button.
6. Use button to select Direct connection settings and press OK button.
7. Use button to select an item and press OK button.
