Operation

At the end of a programme

0 appears in the display when the pro-
gramme has finished.
The dishwasher can now be opened
and unloaded (see "Unloading the dish-
washer").
For safety's sake it is always advisable
to switch the dishwasher off if you do
not wish to start another programme im-
mediately.
Drying fan running time:
During the drying phase, as long as
the door of the dishwasher remains
closed, moist air is expelled through
the ventilation outlet for the drying
fan. To prevent the risk of steam da-
mage to the worktop edging above
the dishwasher, you can select the
"Drying" +c additional function be-
fore starting the programme. The
drying fan will then run for longer af-
ter the end of the programme until
the door is opened (up to a maxi-
mum of 45 minutes after the pro-
gramme has finished).

Switching off

At the end of a programme:
^ Press the On/Off button I-0.
The Start/Stop indicator light h/f will
go out.
The dishwasher continues to use
electricity until switched off using the
On/Off button.
If the dishwasher is not to be used for a
longer period of time, e.g. whilst on
holiday, the stopcock should be turned
off.

Unloading the dishwasher

Dishes tend to break and chip more
easily when they are hot.
Allow the dishes to cool until they
are comfortable enough to handle
before unloading them.
If you open the door fully after switching
off, the dishes will cool much faster.
^ First unload the lower basket, then
the upper basket and then the cutlery
tray.
This will prevent water drops from the
upper basket and cutlery tray from fal-
ling onto the dishes in the lower basket.
