Electrical connection

All electrical work must be car-
ried out by a suitably qualified and
competent person in accordance
with local and national safety regula-
tions.
– All valid standards applicable in the
country where the machine is instal-
led are to be complied with.
– A main switch with all-pole mains iso-
lation is to be installed. The main
switch must have a minimum contact
gap of 3 mm and must be lockable in
the Off position. It is recommended
to make the electrical connection via
a suitable plug and socket that must
be accessible after installation. This
greatly simplifies electrical safety
checks after repair or service work
has been carried out.
– Equipotential bonding should be car-
ried out if required.
– The mains connection cable may
only be replaced by an original Miele
spare part or an apppropriate cable
with wire end ferrule.
– For technical data see data plate or
wiring diagram supplied.

The dishwasher must only be operated
with the voltage, frequency and fusing
shown on the data plate.
This appliance can be converted in
accordance with the conversion dia-
gram and wiring diagram supplied.
Data plates listing test marks VDE,
DVGW etc. are located at the back of
the dishwasher and inside the door.
The wiring diagram is located behind
the plastic plinth panel.
The conversion chart is secured be-
hind the plastic plinth panel.
Remove the plastic panel:

Disconnect the dishwasher from
the mains electricity supply.
^ Unscrew the plastic plinth panel by
loosening the 2 screws on the left
and right hand sides.
Then:
^ Reassemble the plastic plinth panel
with the 2 screws.

Bonding connection
There is a screw connection point mar-
ked with the earth symbol (
back of the dishwasher, to which the
earth lead must be connected.
