This machine is designed exclusively for use as a “dishwasher” for cleaning wash items as described in these instructions. Any other use, conversions, and modifications are not permitted and could be dangerous. Miele cannot be held liable for damage resulting from incorrect or improper use or operation. ...
This could be dangerous. In the event of a damaged or leaking dishwasher, switch off at the power supply immediately and call Miele Technical Service, a Miele dealer, or a suitably qualified service technician. Faulty components may only be replaced by genuine Miele original parts. Only when these parts are fitted can Miele guarantee the safety standards of the appliance.

Accessories Only use genuine Miele original spare parts and accessories with this dishwasher. Miele will provide you with the article designations of the accessories. Only use Miele baskets and inserts with this dishwasher. Using baskets and inserts made by other manufacturers, or making modifications to Miele accessories can cause unsatisfactory cleaning results, for which Miele cannot be held liable.
Remove or disable the door lock prior to disposal of the dishwasher, so that children cannot become trapped inside (see “Caring for the environment”). Miele cannot be held liable for damage caused by failure to comply with these safety instructions and warnings.

Operation tips System messages The symbol denotes system messages. These give information about current processes and the status of the Commercial Dishwasher. System messages are displayed individually at the end of the program. If there are a number of system messages, subsequent messages can be displayed by pressing the OK button.

Use only special, coarse-grained reactivation salt or other pure kitchen salt. Suitable products are available from Miele Professional. If the hardness of your water is constantly less than 4 gpg (= 4°dH), no salt is required for the water softener.

Operation Dispensing Always follow the recommendations of the detergent manufacturer. There are markings to assist with dispensing: 20 and 40. They indicate the filling quantity in milliliters when the door is open in the horizontal position. They also indicate the approximate level in grams for powder detergents, depending on the brand and the coarseness of the detergent.
Color coding the suction wands can be helpful for correct dispensing. Specific types of soiling may require different combinations of detergents and additives. Miele Technical Service will be able to advise you. Connecting The dispenser module comes with a separate installation manual.

Check the area around the drain pump for foreign objects (watch out for glass splinters which could cause injury) and remove them before replacing the non-return valve. Carefully replace the non-return valve and secure it with the clamp.
