Warning and safety instructions

This commercial dishwasher con-
forms to current safety requirements.
Incorrect use can, however, lead to
personal injury and damage to pro-
perty.
To avoid the risk of accidents and
damage to the dishwasher please
read these instructions carefully be-
fore starting to use it. They contain
important notes on the installation,
safety, operation and care of the
dishwasher.
Keep these instructions in a safe
place and pass them on to any futu-
re user.
Correct application
~
This commercial dishwasher is de-
signed for cleaning crockery and glass-
ware only, as described in these in-
structions. Alterations to the appliance,
or using it for purposes other than those
for which it is designed, are unauthori-
sed and could be dangerous.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable
for damage caused by improper or in-
correct use.

Personnel operating the appliance
should be trained regularly. Untrained
personnel should not be allowed ac-
cess to the dishwasher or its controls.

This dishwasher is not intended for
use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or men-
tal capabilities, or lack of experience or
knowledge, unless they are supervised
whilst using it, or have been shown how
to use it by a person responsible for
their safety.

The special inserts should only be
used for their specific application.
Technical safety
~
Before setting up the dishwasher
check it for any externally visible dama-
ge. Under no circumstances should
you use it if it has been damaged. It
could be dangerous.

This dishwasher should be commis-
sioned and then maintained by a Miele
authorised and trained service technici-
an or other suitably qualified and com-
petent approved person.

The electrical safety of this dishwas-
her can only be guaranteed if connec-
ted to a correctly installed earthing sys-
tem on site. It is most important that this
basic safety requirement is present and
regularly tested, and where there is any
doubt the on-site wiring system should
be inspected by a qualified electrician.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable
for damage or injury caused by the lack
of or inadequacy of an effective eart-
hing system (e.g. electric shock).
