MONO DELAY/ECHO EFFECTS

If you selected any of the MONO echo effects, the next page down you will see is this:
Here, you may set the delay time, the high frequency damping and the feedback level. The
DELAY parameter sets the speed of the echo effect and the range is variable between 1 and
670 milliseconds. The HF DAMP parameter filters out some of the high frequency components
in the sound in the feedback loop. This is to simulate the effect that in real life, each repeat of
the echo gets slightly duller as the surfaces of which the sound is bouncing absorb some of
the high frequencies. The value shown is the frequency that will be attenuated in the feedback
loop. The FBK parameter sets the feedback level and hence the number of repeats the echo
will have.
NOTE: Be careful with high FBK settings as you can cause the delay line to go unstable and
cause 'howl around'.
The parameters are set using F1 and F2 as cursor keys to move to the parameters and their
values are set using the DATA wheel.
