EFFECTS EDIT
As we have seen, there are 50 'effects' presets (i.e. presets for the distortion/EQ/ring
mod/modulation/delay effects sections of the multi-effects channels) which can be freely
assigned to the two multi-effects channels FX1 and FX2. There are also 50 'reverb' presets
which can be freely assigned to all four channels. Our programmers have put together a wide
palette of effects types to suit a variety of different purposes which we hope you find useful.
However, with so many effects to choose from and with such a wide range of parameters and
possible combinations, it may be that you will need to edit these to your requirements.
When you press edit, you must first select the effects channel you wish to edit. This is done in
the following screen:
Use F1 and the DATA wheel to select FX1, FX2, RV3 or RV4. You may also use F2 to select
the LISTEN parameter and you may select whether you want to monitor ALL effects channels
(i.e. hear all four channels together as you edit an effects/reverb preset) or whether you only
want to hear the selected FX or reverb channel.
Once you have selected the effects channel you wish to edit, the next page allows you to
select the actual effect you are going to edit (it will take as its default, the effect selected for the
program or multi currently active):
Press F1 and use the DATA wheel to select the effect you wish to edit.
You may also name the effect if you wish. To name the effect, press F2 - use the outer
SELECT wheel to 'nudge' the cursor through the name and use the inner DATA wheel to
input the characters.
You may also, if you wish, change the reverb associated with an effect preset in the next page
down:
Press F1 and use the DATA wheel to select a reverb preset. As with the effect SEL/NAME
page, you may also give the selected reverb a new name.
Once you have selected the effect and/or reverb you wish to edit, pressing PAGE DOWN
takes you to the editing pages.
NOTE: Of course, if RV3 or RV4 (the so-called 'reverb only' channels) are selected in the
EDITEFFECTpage, all the effect pages are not seen and you will be taken directly to the
SEL/NAME REVERB page:
