Use the number keys to input the number of successive scans and press Enter.
SmartSpec 3000 will now display the Ready screen. If you want to invoke the smoothing
option or the subregion option, choose Options from the Ready screen.

The first three options allow you to change the conditions already specified above. Press
the right arrow key to see the other options.

If you choose Regions, SmartSpec 3000 will prompt for the number of regions.
Enter number of
subregions (0–4):
Use the number keys to input the number of regions. Choose 0 if you don't want any
subregions. If you specify 1 or more subregions, then you are next prompted to define
them.
Subregion
Start:
Use the number keys to input the beginning wavelength and press Enter. Then use
the number keys to input the ending wavelength for the first subregion and press
Enter again. After you define the last subregion, the Option screen is displayed again.

To turn smoothing on, press 5.
Select Smoothing:
Press Select to toggle from Off to On and press Enter.
