User's Guide
Starting on Mac OS X
Note:
EPSON Scan does not support the Mac OS X fast user switching feature. Turn off fast user switching.
Select Go > Applications > Epson Software > EPSON Scan.

Document Capture Pro

Document Capture Pro is an application that allows you to configure settings for scanned images sent from the
printer to a computer over a network.
Document Capture Pro is for Windows. For Mac OS X, use Document Capture, and for Windows Server, use
Document Capture Pro Server.
You can configure various scan settings on the computer such as the file saving format, a folder to save, and
forwarding destination, and save as a scan job. You can save up to 30 scan jobs and run those jobs from the
computer or from the printer using the control panel. Select Scan > Document Capture Pro from the home
screen.

Starting on Windows
❏ Windows 8.1/Windows 8/Windows Server 2012 R2/Windows Server 2012
Enter the application name in the search charm, and then select the displayed icon.

Click the start button, and select All Programs or Programs > Epson Software > Document Capture Pro.
Starting on Mac OS X
Select Go > Applications > Epson Software > Document Capture.

PC-FAX Driver (Fax Driver)

PC-FAX driver is an application that allows you to send a document created on a separate application as a fax
directly from the computer. PC-FAX driver is installed when you install FAX Utility. See the application's help for
details.
Note:
❏ Windows Server operating systems are not supported.
❏ The operation differs depending on the application you used to create the document. See the application's help for details.
Accessing from Windows
In the application, select Print or Print Setup from the File menu. Select your printer (FAX), and then click
Preferences or Properties.
Accessing from Mac OS X
In the application, select Print from the File menu. Select your printer (FAX) as the Printer setting, and then select
Fax Settings or Recipient Settings from the pop-up menu.
