Cannot scan from a computer

Make sure the scanner is turned on and that Ready appears on the
scanner display before scanning a job.

Step 2
Turn off the scanner, then wait for about 10 seconds, and then turn it back
on.
Does Ready appear before scanning the job?

If an error message appears on the scanner display, then clear the
message.

Resend the scan job.

Check the cable connections between the scanner and the print server
to make sure they are secure.

Make sure the document or photo is loaded facedown on the
scanner glass in the lower left corner.
