Always keep the brake discs free of oil and grease, and clean them with brake cleaner when necessary.

Pull the front wheel brake and push down hard on the fork several times to align
the fork legs.

Preliminary work

Raise the motorcycle with the lift stand. (
Main work
–
Remove nut
–
Remove chain adjuster
wheel to be pushed forward.
–
Push the rear wheel forward as far as possible. Remove the chain from the rear
sprocket.
–
Holding the rear wheel, withdraw the wheel spindle. Take the rear wheel out of the
swing arm.
Info
Do not operate the foot brake when the rear wheel is removed.
Always lay the wheel down in such a way that the brake disc is not dam-
aged.

Check the wheel bearing for damage and wear.

If the wheel bearing is damaged or worn:

Clean and grease the shaft seal rings
Long-life grease (

Insert the spacers.
