The main silencer is filled with glass fiber yarn.
Over a period, the fibers of the insulating material vanish into the air, and the silencer "burns out".
Not only is the noise level higher, the performance characteristic changes.

Remove screws

Mount the main silencer. Mount and tighten screws

Reconnect spring

Remove screws of end cap

Remove screws of insert
–
Remove screws of cap
–
Remove inner-tube
–
Remove glass fiber yarn filling from insert
–
Clean parts to be refitted.
