4.4.12 Carriage Assy

C A U T I O N
When pulling out the CR Guide Shafts, take care not to lose the
gear at the left side of the printer frame and the washers at the
right side.
1.
Remove the Linear Scale. (p.91)
2.
Remove the Printhead. (p.92)
3.
Remove the Printer Mechanism. (p.107)
4.
Remove the APG Assy. (p.111)
5.
At the rear of the printer, remove the tension spring of the Driven Pulley Holder, and
remove the CR Motor from the CR Belt.
6.
At the left side of the printer frame, release the torsion springs (x2) fastening the CR
Guide Shafts.
7.
At the right side of the printer frame, remove the CR Scale Spring.
8.
Remove the retaining rings (x2) from the CR Guide Shafts, and remove the PG Cams
(x2), coned disc springs (x2) and washers (x2).
9.
Remove the CR Scale Mounting Plate Assy and washers (x2), and lift the right side of
the CR Guide Shafts (x2) and remove the Carriage Assy from the left frame.
10. Pull out the CR Guide Shafts (x2) from the Carriage Assy.
