ASSEMBLY OF ASF REAR ASSY
Lubrication is necessary. Refer to the following section and
lubricate the specified points:
Lubrication of ASF Rear Assy (p.152)
1.
Engage the hooks (x2) on the front side of the ASF Rear Assy, and install the ASF
Rear Assy on the printer.
2.
Make sure that the locating bosses (x2) on the CR Motor side are engaged properly,
and secure the ASF Rear Assy, tightening the screw on the CR Motor side first.
3.
Install the LD Roller Guide, spacers (x3) and Paper Block Levers.
4.
Route and fasten the lead wires of PE Sensor Assy (yellow) and CR Motor (red).
5.
Route and fasten the lead wires of the ASF Motor and Pump Motor.
6.
Route and fasten the lead wires of the PE Sensor Assy (yellow), CD-R Sensor 2 (blue)
and APG Sensor (white).
7.
Place the Relay Connectors in the APG Assy, connect the connectors (x4), and secure
the Nylon Clip with the screw.
NOTE: Install the Nylon Clip with its flat surface facing outward.
8.
Pass the lead wires of the PE Sensor Assy (yellow), CD-R Sensor 2 (blue) and APG
Sensor (white) through the Harness Clamp.
A D J U S T M E N T
Adjustments are required. Once the ASF Rear Assy has been
R E Q U I R E D
removed or replaced with a new one, refer to the following section
and perform the necessary adjustments.
5.1.1 Adjustment Items (p.134)
Disassembly and Assembly
Place the following lead wires in the
Harness Clamp:
• PE Sensor (Yellow)
• CD-R Sensor (Blue)
• APG Sensor (White)
Open the Lower Case slightly and
place the lead wires (x3) of the
sensors in the Harness Clamp.

Place the wider cable on
the side closer to you
