4.3.4 HEATSCOPE™ MHS-DAGSL
· Diagram (10) shows the HEATSCOPE™ with the 11,81 inch / 300 cm ceiling suspension MHS-DAH 300
plus additional ceiling mount hinge joint MHS-DAGSL with freely adjustable angle (installation instruc-
tions apply correspondingly for the 19,69 inch / 500 cm extension MHS-DAHV 50 plus additional ceiling
mount hinge joint MHS-DAHGMS with freely adjustable angle).
· Fit the first threaded element (6) on/to the intended installation surface. For easy mounting, these
threaded elements can be supplemented by oval ceiling attachments MHS-DAHDB that are optionally
available as accessories. (Please note the minimum clearance for installation surfaces in Section 6.)
· Fit the second threaded element (2) using one of the supplied screws and washers – in the following
sequence: screw, washer, mounting bracket, threaded element - on the mounting bracket MHS-MH (1
to 2).
· Now screw down the freely adjustable ceiling mount hinge joint MHS-DAGSL to the second threaded
element on the mounting bracket (2 to 3).
· Now connect the extension tube with the angle-adjustable joint MHS-DAGSL. Assemble in the following
sequence: mounting bracket, threaded element, angle-adjustable joint, extension tube, spacer with the
first threaded element (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 to 6) on the installation surface. Never use more than one spacer
tube plus an adjustable joint!
· Repeat these steps (1 to 6) with the second freely adjustable hinge joint MHS-DAHGMS. Make sure that
both mounting brackets (1) are mounted exactly in series one after the other and that the securing clips
are oppositely aligned to each other and are facing outward.
· To set the adjustable ceiling mount hinge joint to the desired angle, slightly loosen the screw at the hin-
ge joint and align the mounting bracket accordingly. Make sure that both mounting brackets are aligned
at exactly the same angle so that the HEATSCOPE™ radiant heater can be pushed smoothly into place.
· Now slide the HEATSCOPE™ (7) onto the mounting brackets until the clip (8) clicks audibly into place on
both sides above the raised side plate (6) and the HEATSCOPE™ is secured from slipping out.
