Adjusting the rear shock absorber
The rear shock absorber has external controls that
enable you to adjust the setting to suit the load on the
motorcycle.
The adjuster (1, Fig 129), located on the lower mount
which fastens the shock absorber to the swinging
arm, adjusts the damping during the rebound phase
(return).
The knob (2, Fig 130) located on the left side of the
motorcycle, adjusts the preload of the shock absorber
external spring.
