When the external phone off-hook is detected, the printer

On pressing the Start button, the printer starts reading out
the document.

On pressing the Stop button, the display moves to the copy
standby screen.
If the Start button is pressed when paper is not loaded in
the tray, this message appears again.
Displays that failing to connect to PC.
Stays displayed until the Stop key is pressed.
