User Mode - Humminbird HELIX 5 SERIES Operation Manual

Units - Depth selects the units of measure for all depth-related readouts.
Units - Temp selects the units of measure for all temperature-related readouts.
Units - Distance selects the units of measure for all distance-related readouts, and will appear
in the menu if a Temp/Speed Accessory is connected and the paddlewheel has moved at least
once, or if a GPS Receiver is installed.
Units - Speed selects the units of measure for speed-related readouts, and will appear in the menu
if a Temp/Speed Accessory is connected and the paddlewheel has moved at least once, or if a GPS
Receiver is installed.
User Mode sets the menu system to Normal or Advanced. When set to Normal, the basic set of
menu options are shown in the menu system. When set to Advanced (default setting), additional
menu options are added to the menu system. See Main Menu: User Mode for details.
Language selects the display language for menus. International Models only.

Settings: Domestic Models: Feet, Fathoms; International Models: Meters,
Feet, Fathoms; Default = Feet/Meters
Units - Temp
(International Models only, temperature input required)
Settings: Celsius, Fahrenheit; Default = Celsius

(with Speed input only)
Settings: Domestic
Default = Statute Miles; International Models: Meters/Kilometers,
Meters/Nautical Miles, Feet/Statute Miles, Feet/Nautical Miles,
Default = Meters/Kilometers
