12.1.1 General

The General tab allows the user to obtain critical information about the P-Series POS they are
working with. This information is useful when contacting support regarding issues that the user may
be experiencing.

Adjusting the Primary Display Brightness
There are two acceptable methods for adjusting the primary display brightness.

 The preferred method is to use the Backlight Control section within the
General tab. Select Adjust Brightness and use the adjustment slider to
set the brightness to the desired level. Backlight levels will remain
persistent through reboots and power cycles. Backlight levels are stored
within the Windows registry, and will be reset if the terminal is reimaged.
