c. Attaching the Corona Wires for the Primary and
Transfer Corona Units
n Primaty Corona Unit
1) Remove the four tension springs and grid plate.

2) Remove the guide wire retainer; see p. 4-22.
3) Loosen a length of about 40 mm of corona wire
from a 0.06-dia. wire reel, and form a loop at the
end with a diameter of about 2 mm.
Note:
To form a loop, wind the corona wire around
a hex key once, and turn the key four to five
times; thereafter, twist the wire.

5) Hook the loop of the corona wire as shown in
