ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
PROBLEM
1. Glow plugs do not
come on.
1. No 4 wheel drive.
2. No differential lock.
1. Engine shuts down when
implement switch is pulled
to the ON position.
2. Mowers do not come on
when implement switch
is pulled to the ON posi-
tion. Engine stays running.
SECTION 10B. FAILURE ANALYSIS
PROBABLE CAUSE
GLOW PLUG CIRCUIT
a. Parking brake not set.
b. Implement switch not in the OFF
position.
c. 50 amp tractor circuit breaker
tripped.
d. 10 amp shut-off system circuit
breaker tripped.
e. 50 amp glow plug/light circuit
breaker tripped.
f. Faulty glow plug switch.
g. Faulty glow plugs.
h. Faulty glow plug relay.
i. Faulty ignition switch.
TRACTOR CIRCUITS
a. 4 wheel drive switch not ON.
b. Faulty solenoid.
c. Reverse sensing switch not
adjusted.
d. Faulty reverse sensing switch.
e. Faulty 4 wheel drive switch.
f. Faulty 4 wheel drive valve.
a. Differential switch not pushed.
b. Faulty solenoid.
c. Faulty differential lock cylinder.
IMPLEMENT CIRCUITS
a. No operator in seat.
b. Faulty seat switch.
c. Faulty time delay relay.
d. Faulty implement control switch.
e. Faulty wiring or bad electrical
ground.
a. Mowers not on the ground.
b. Direction control switches not in
the CUT position.
c. Faulty implement switch.

REMEDY
a. Set brake.
b. Push into OFF position.
c. Reset/test (Section 10J).

a. Turn ON.
b. Check solenoid plug LED.
ON: Check voltage, 12 VDC.
NO — Check wiring (Section 10C).
YES — Change coil.
OUT: Check wiring (Section 10C).
c. Adjust (Section 2C).
d. Test (Section 10G).
e. Test (Section 10G).

a. Push ON.
b. Check solenoid plug LED.
ON: Check voltage, 12 VDC.
NO — Check wiring (Section 10C).
YES — Change coil.
OUT: Check wiring (Section 10C).
