HYDRAULICS
PROBLEM
7. No differential lock.
Check LED in differential
lock solenoid plug:
ON — Switch solenoid
with 4 wheel drive
solenoid. Still no
differential lock,
see a to e.
OFF — See f,
8. Differential lock not
disengaging.
1. Mowers will not lower.
2. Mowers lower too slow.
3. Right wing will not lower.
4. Left wing will not lower.
SECTION 8B. FAILURE ANALYSIS
PROBABLE CAUSE
a. Faulty cartridge valve.
b. Faulty 4 wheel drive control valve
spool.
c. Insufficient charge pressure to
activate 4 wheel drive valve.
d. Faulty differential lock valve
spool.
e. Faulty differential lock cylinder.
f. Faulty electrical circuit.
a. Differential collar sticks in axle.
b. Differential solenoid valve spool
sticks.
c. Differential solenoid does not
de-energize.
d. Insufficient charge pressure to
activate differential lock.
e. Differential collar return spring
broken.
LIFT SYSTEM
a. Engine RPM must be 2000 or
greater.
b. Valve detent spool sticks.
c. Faulty lift valve main relief.
d. Insufficient oil supply, priority
valve.
e. Mechanical binding of lift arm.
f. Faulty pump.
a. Flotation control set too high.
b. Restriction in oil return line.
a. Mechanical binding of lift arm.
b. Valve detent spool sticks.
c. Restriction in oil return line.
a. Mechanical binding of lift arm.
