4B EXHAUST PIPES
D :
ISASSEMBLY
• Remove the silencer, see chap. 4A Section 10;
• Loosen clamps "D";
• Unscrew the 2 nuts "E" and collect the washers "F";
• Remove the locking ring "G";
• Remove the spacers "H" and the gasket between the
manifold and exhaust pipe "I";
• Remove the exhaust pipes "2-3" and collect the gas-
ket "L";
WARNING
Plug the exhaust ports on the cylinder head to
avoid foreign bodies entering the combustion
chamber.
R :
EASSEMBLY
• Fit the gasket "L" and the clamps "D" to the exhaust
manifolds "1" and "2";
• Fit the exhaust pipe into the respective insertion seat
on the expansion chamber;
• Fit the gasket and spacers between the exhaust mani-
fold and cylinder head;
• Position the locking ring "G" and tighten the two nuts
with washer to the prescribed torque;
• Tighten the clamps "D" for connection to the expan-
sion chamber;
• Refit the silencers.
4C EXPANSION CHAMBER

ISASSEMBLY
• Remove the silencer from the motorcycle as described
in chap. 4A in this section;
• Loosen the 2 clamps "D" on the exhaust pipes;
• Unscrew the nut "M" and remove the expansion cham-
ber "4" by pulling it out of the exhaust pipes.

EASSEMBLY
Carry out the disassembly procedures in reverse order.

4B AUSPUFFROHRE

• Den Schalldämpfer abnehmen, siehe Kap. 4A Abschn.
• Die Schellen "D" lockern.
• Die 2 Muttern "E" lösen und die Zwischenlegscheiben
• Den Flansch "G" entfernen.
• Die Distanzstücke "H" und die Dichtung zwischen Aus-
• Die Auspuffrohre "2-3" entfernen und die Dichtung "L"

• Die Dichtung "L" und die Schellen "D" an den Auspuff-
• Das Auspuffrohr in die entsprechende Aufnahme an
