METHOD

is factory equipped
with a power supply cord with a four-prong
grounding
plug.

Hf the circuit does not have a grounding
type
receptacHe, it is the responsibility
and
obligation
of the installer
to have the existing
receptacle
changed
to a properly
grounded
and
polarized
receptacle
in accordance
with
ail appikabie
local codes and ordinances
by a qualified
eiectrkian,
in the absence of local codes and ordinances,
the receptacle
replacement
shall be in
accordance
with the National Eiectrkal Code.
THE FOURTH PRONG (ROUND GROUNDING
PIN) SHOULD
NOT, UNDER ANY
CIRCUMSTANCES,
BE CUT OR REMOVED,
GAS REQUIREMENTS
Verify the type of gas suppHied to the Hocation, The range is shipped
from the factory
set up and
adjusted
for naturaH gas or L,R gas as specified
by the customer order, If the range is not compatible
with gas supply, return it to the dealer,
NATURAL GAS
Con nection:
1/2" N,RT, Minimum
5/8" dia, flex line,
Pressure: 6"to 14"W.C.
LP GAS
Con nection:
1/2" N,RT, Minimum
5/8 dia, flex line,
Pressure: 11"to 14" W,C,
A regulator
is required
at the LP source to provide a maximum
of 14"W.C.to
the range regulator.
HOOK-UP TO GAS SUPPLY
STEP 6:
HOOK-UP
A manual valve must be installed
external to the appliance, in an accessible location from the front for
the purpose of shutting
off the gas supply. The supply line must not protrude
beyond the back of the
unit. Make sure the gas supply is turned offat
the wall valve before connecting
the appliance.
The gas suppJy connections
shouJd be made by a quaJified technician
and in accordance
with [oca[
codes or ordinances.
In the absence of a local code, the installation
must conform
to the National Fuel
Gas Code ANSI 223.1-1988, latest edition.
