ICE THICKNESS PROBE

FUNCTION
The ice thickness probe senses ice on the evaporator and
signals the control board to start a harvest cycle. After
ice forms on the evaporator, the ice will contact the ice
thickness probe and a harvest cycle is initiated.
SPECIFICATIONS
Freeze Time Lock-In Feature
The ice machine control system incorporates a freeze
time lock-in feature. This prevents the ice machine from
short cycling in and out of harvest.
The control board locks the ice machine in the freeze
cycle and a harvest cycle can not start for six minutes.
Maximum Freeze Time
The control system includes a built-in safety which will
automatically cycle the ice machine into harvest after 60
minutes in the freeze cycle.
Maximum Temperature
Maximum temperature for the ice thickness probe is
120°F (49°C). Do not clean probe in a dishwasher or
expose to temperatures above the maximum.
