CONTROL BOARD RELAY TEST

The control board can be set to energize all relays for 3.5
minutes. This allows testing to verify control board relays
are closed and line voltage is available for ice machine
components - Water pump, dump valve, water inlet valve,
harvest valve(s), air compressor(s), contactor/compressor/
fan motor - The fan cycle control must close to energize
the fan motor.
1. Press power button to turn off ice machine.
2. Perform the following keystrokes on the display.
Press Menu, scroll down to Service and press the
right arrow
Scroll down to Diagnostics, press the right arrow
and select Diagnostics
Display reads Control Board, press right arrow
Scroll down to enbl relays and press right arrow
to start control board test
3. The control board will energize all relays and the
red light next to the relay. The red light indicates the
relay coil is energized.
4. Test for line voltage at the individual components.
A.
Line voltage is present and the component is
non functional - Replace component
B.
Voltage is not present at the component -
Proceed to step 5
5. Refer to wiring diagram and determine wire location
on the 9 pin molex connector for the component
you are testing.
6. Check for line voltage at the control board 9 pin
molex connector.
A.
Line voltage at 9 pin connector - Repair wiring
to component
B.
No power at 9 pin connector - Replace control
board
