7. SORTER MISFEED
When paper has misfed between the bins and the transport section:

Close the sorter's front door securely.

Check the gap of the bins and the posi-
tion where the paper has misfed.
G When the paper has misfed in any bin
above the wide-gap bin:
Open the cover of the sorter's control
panel.
Press the DOWN (
key to make the bin, where the paper
has misfed, move down to the position
where the wide-gap bin was located.
G When the paper has misfed in any bin
below the wide-gap bin:
Open the cover of the sorter's control
panel.
Press the UP (
make the bin, where the paper has
misfed, move up to the position where
the wide-gap bin was located.

Remove the misfed paper from outside
the bin.
