Unless noted otherwise, the following regulatory information applies to both the AP3965i and the
AP3965e.

AP3965e External Antenna AP

The AP3965e must be used only with certified external antennas. Any unused antenna ports must
be terminated.
For a list of approved external antennas, see "External Antennas" on page 30.

FCC Declaration of Conformity Statement

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two
conditions:
• This device may not cause harmful interference.
• This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause
undesired operation.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection
