Connect the [TO HOST] connector to the modem or printer port of the Apple Macintosh
computer using a Macintosh
port is selected by the MIDI program being used. On the piano, set the [HOST SELECT]
selector on "MAC".
For the settings of the computer and/or the MIDI program used, refer to the relative user
manuals. In all cases, the clock speed must be set at 1 MHz.

Before connecting the cable to the [TO HOST] connector, switch off both
the piano and the computer. After connecting the cable, switch on first the
computer then the piano.
When the [HOST SELECT] selector is set on "MIDI" disconnect the cable
from the [TO HOST] connector. If the cable is let connected, the instrument
might not work correctly.
When the [HOST SELECT] selector is set on "MAC" or "PC", the
transmission of data through the [MIDI] ports is disabled. To use the [MIDI]
ports, set [HOST SELECT] on "MIDI".
