SOFT PEDAL MODE – F5.1
Using this function, you can decide whether you wish to use the Soft pedal with its main
function (slight reduction in volume) or to simulate the [START-STOP] key on the front
panel – sequencer section.
To make the setting, use the VALUE buttons. Press the same buttons simultaneously to
restore the default condition (Soft).
STRINGS RESONANCE LEVEL – F5.2
As described in chap. 4 which discusses the pedals, the piano is able to simulate the
sympathetic vibration of the strings when the Damper pedal is pressed, just as in a real
acoustic piano.
You can use function F5.2 to regulate the amount of this effect.
The possible values range from 0 (no effect) to 20 (maximum effect volume).
Pressing the [VALUE] buttons simultaneously restores the default value (11).
DAMPER EFFECT AMOUNT – F5.3
Another effect which is simulated when the Damper pedal is pressed is the typical sound
of the damper being raised.
Function F5.3 allows you to set the level of this sound in a range of values from 0 (no
effect) to 20 (maximum effect volume).
To restore the default value (11), press the [VALUE] buttons simultaneously.
