    Congratulations on purchasing the new Galileo Combining sophisticated digital technology with piano-learning functions, your my1stpiano is a highly advanced learning and playing piano especially designed for children in grades 1 thru 6. While reading this manual, it will be helpful to try the various functions of the instrument at the same time.

    Do not operate the instrument for a long period of time at a high and/or uncomfortable volume level since this may cause hearing loss or damage. Galileo Music cannot and will not be held responsible for damage caused by improper usage or modifications to the instrument or data that is lost or destroyed.

    Unpack all piano stand pieces and hardware prior to beginning assembly. You should have the following hardware: Hand knob bolts Plastic caps Bag #3 Headphone bracket (plastic) Small wood screws Bag #4 (varies) EXTRA PARTS Hand knob bolt Plastic cap Fuse ASSEMBLY (Read Before Starting)

    For the complete list of instrument voices, please refer to page 17 of this manual. TOUCH my1stpiano features Touch Response that allows you to play with varying degrees of loudness (dynamics), giving students accurate experience playing the piano with expression.

    Press the TOUCH button to toggle between SOFT, MIDDLE, HEAVY and OFF settings. This will modify the touch of the piano to respond to softer, medium or heavier playing. Turning the knob to will result in the same loudness regardless of how example).

    A. B. C. button again to turn off the accompaniment chords function. METRONOME METRONOME button to activate the metronome function. [Examples: 2/4, 6/8, etc.] TEMPO ess the TEMPO button to set the tempo (tempo can be adjusted from 240 beats per minute).

    OCTAVE Allows you to transpose the instrument up or down one (1) octave. FUNCTION button twice and the display will show 0 0. + / - to adjust the key to a maximum of one (1) octave. BEAT FUNCTION button three (3) times and the display will show 0 4 indicating a 4/4 beat.

    START RECORDING When the recording function is in standby mode, playing any key or pressing the START / STOP button will start the recording immediately at the default tempo set indicated in the display. The record status light will be lit indicating that recording is in progress.

    MEMORY SAVING SETTINGS MEMORY button and press one of the M1 M3 buttons to save your settings.
