For these and many other reasons, you will discover your YP300/GYP300is an absolute pleasure to play! To get the absolute most out of your new piano, we recommend that you read this manual carefully so that you can take full advantage of all the advanced and convenient functions.

    STANDBY/ON switch Connect the power cord to a power outlet, your YP300/GYP300 is now in power saving mode (standby) and the red LED indicates the status. At this point, press the standby button located on the right side of the keyboard to turn on the instrument, the LED turns from red to green (ON).

    Presets selection The presets are the internal sounds on your YP300/GYP300 digital piano. Your piano has 16 professional sounds which may be played separately, or in combinations of two. They have been selected & optimized with the associated effects and control parameters to provide you with the most exciting combinations.

    Balance: allows you to modify the balance between the three sound parts of YP300/GYP300 when you are playing in dual or split mode. Below we see the part configurations and how these are influenced by Balance: 1.

    YP300/GYP300 owner’s manual Change the Split point: To change the Split Point Press and hold the Bass button down for two seconds, the four LEDs on the Bass section will begin to flash and the display shows the current Split Point. Play the note on your piano (or use the TEMPO/DATA buttons) to assign a new split point.

    REVERB: Selecting or modifying a reverb in a preset Each of your YP300/GYP300 sounds can include a reverb effect. The reverb type (Room - Hall 1 - Hall 2 - Stage) selection is indicated by the corresponding led on the panel. Press the reverb button to change the reverb type.

    Ascolto delle demo YP300/GYP300 dispone di 8 demo songs, una serie di brani dimostrativi che ne illustrano le capacità timbriche. L’attivazione della sequenza avviene premendo il tasto DEMO sul pannello. Una volta premuto il tasto DEMO i tasti di selezione dei preset iniziano a lampeggiare. Premen- do uno di questi tasti entro 2 secondi, ha inizio la demo song ad esso assegnata.

    YP300/GYP300 manuale utente Selezionare i presets I preset costituiscono la risorsa timbrica dello strumento, la loro struttura permette di ottimizzare non solo il suono richiamato, ma anche gli effetti ad esso associati e tutti gli altri parametri di controllo. Per selezionare un preset e’ sufficiente premere il pulsante con il nome del suono che volete richiamare.

    Brilliance permette di intervenire sulla brillantezza del suono prodotto da YP300/GYP300. Spostando il cursore del potenziometro a sinistra si otterrà un suono più scuro, meno ricco di toni acuti; spostandolo invece a destra si otterrà un suono più brillante, ricco di toni acuti.
